The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform clients, employees, partners, and users of Sodel Ltd’s practices regarding the collection, use, communication, retention, and protection of personal information. It is established in accordance with the laws applicable in Quebec, notably the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. Collection of Personal Information

We collect only the personal information necessary to conduct our business activities. Depending on the nature of our relationship, we may collect:

• Professional Contact Information: Name, title, email address, telephone number, and civic address.
• Payment Information: Banking details or credit information for transactions.
• Employee File: Social Insurance Number (SIN), void cheque, date of birth, and professional background (solely for our personnel).
• Technical Information: Data collected during the use of our digital platforms or file exchanges.

This information is collected directly from you (via forms, emails, meetings, or contracts) or through our business interactions.

2. Use of Personal Information

The personal information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• Providing our products and services: Including order processing and technical support.
• Managing business relationships: Communication with our clients, employees, partners, and suppliers.
• Experience improvement: Analyzing the use of our tools to optimize our services and internal processes.
• Compliance and Security: Complying with legal obligations, preventing fraud, and ensuring the security of our IT assets.

Note: We do not use personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected, unless we obtain your explicit consent or as permitted by law.

3. Communication of Personal Information

• Right of Rectification: To request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: To withdraw your authorization for the use of your information (this may, however, limit our ability to provide certain services).

To exercise these rights, you must submit a written request to the Privacy Officer identified in the following section. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
