Ensemble Vulcain

Le Vulcain est l’équipement qui permet d’utiliser les tubes GRIZZLY. Les tubes GRIZZLY sont compatibles avec d’autres systèmes équivalents. Pour utiliser les tubes, en plus de l’ensemble Vulcain, vous devez avoir une bonbonne d’oxygène et une batterie 12 volts (on suggère une batterie marine pour la durabilité).

PROCÉDURE

1- Visser le tuyau vert à l’oxygène

2- Installez le tuyau noir relié au fusil Vulcain à la borne négative de la batterie*

3- Installer le tuyau noir avec la mise à terre (tuyau avec pince) à la borne positive de la batterie. * Une batterie nautique est suggérée, afin d’assurer une plus grande durabilité.

4- Accrochez la pince, reliée au tuyau noir, à la pièce qui doit être coupée.

5- Installez le bouclier sur le fusil Vulcain. Une rondelle doit être insérée en avant et en arrière du bouclier afin que le bouclier ne puisse bouger. Terminez en vissant la vis-canon.

6- Installez le collet requis en fonction du diamètre du tube Grizzly : 3/8, ½ ou 1/4

7- Vissez le bout du fusil vulcain sur la vis-canon, afin de stabiliser le tout.

8- Insérez et vissez le tube Grizzly approprié. Le côté ayant la marque creusée doit se retrouver à l’intérieur du fusil Vulcain. L’extrémité du tube où on voit les fils est le bout qui doit entrer en contact avec le matériel à couper

9- Ouvrir la valve à oxygène à 90 PSI

10- Amorcez le Tubes Grizzly en touchant la pièce tout en maintenant enfoncé la gâchette du fusil Vulcain. L’étincelle de départ va se transformer en combustion grâce à un apport en oxygène constant.

Vulcain kit

The Vulcain is the equipment that allows you to use the GRIZZLY tubes. The GRIZZLY are compatible with other equivalent systems. To use the tubes you need the Vulcain kit, oxygen tank and a 12 volts battery (we suggest a marine battery).

GETTING STARTING WITH THE VULCAIN KIT

1- Fix the green hose to the oxygen

2- Install the black cable (the cable with the gun) to the negative terminal of the battery*.

3- Install the black ground cable (the cable with the pliers) to the positive terminal of the battery. * A marine battery is recommended in order to increase the durability and life span.

4- Fix the pliers, the one attached to the black cable, to the part to be cut.

5- Install the shield to the Vulcain gun. A washer must be placed in front and also behind the shield in order to keep it firmly in place. Finish in screwing the canon-screw.

6- Install the collet (according to the diameter of the Grizzly tube) that you would like to use, ex. 3/8, ½ or 1/4

7- Tighten the tip of the Vulcain gun on the Canon-Screw in order to firmly support the apperatus.

8- Insert and screw in the required Grizzly tube. The side of the Grizzly tube with the groove must go inside the Vulcain gun. The tip of the Grizzly tube where we see the wire is the side that must be in contact with the material to be cut.

9- Open the oxygen valve at 90 PSI

10- Start the Grizzly tube by touching the part while pressing the trigger and holding it down. The starting spark will allow combustion to take place with a constant oxygen flow.
