APPLICATIONS & WELDING
Nickel and its alloys have excellent corrosion resistance combined with good mechanical properties both at high temperatures (200-1100°C/ 400-2000°F) and low temperatures (-196°C or more down). Nickel based alloys are divided into two families: solid solution strengthened alloys and precipitation-hardening alloys. The first series have a good weldability in comparison to those of the second family.
